Free Printable Quote

HERE is a quote by Duke Fergerson, who is a former NFL player. He said this in an interview in 1988 and attributed it to something that his mom would always tell him. I love it and think it can apply to many situations.

All About Me

Well this isn't all about me actually, but you can have your own All About Me sheet to fill out yourself or for your friends and family. I've had an ongoing goal to write down accomplishments and milestones on each of my kids' birthdays, but honstly that rarely happens. So now at the beginning of each year I'll be filling out one of these for each of my kids. I think once a year is more practical for me!
I have kids ranging in ages from 10 to almost 2 and I tried to make most of the questions apply to all those ages, which essentially can apply to anyone.

Free downloadable printable

This printable was inspired by my daughter. We were having a discussion about doing things that are hard and she told me that her teacher last year had a quote over her board that said "I can do hard things." I was totally surprised that she remembered it from her previous teacher's classroom, and decided that it would be great to have hanging in her room. This is the second time that she has repeated a quote she's seen on a wall and I realized that they really seem to resonate with her. The more inspiring and encouraging things she remembers, the better! I thought this would be a great birthday or christmas present for your little ones' rooms.

This can be printed on an 8.5x11" piece of card stock and framed in an 8x10" frame, like this one from Ikea. HERE is a more boyish version (that my daughter likes):

And HERE is the more girly one:

Free Thanksgiving Printables

Hello friends! I have a new gig once a month creating a free printable download for the website Or So She Says. Click HERE to see todays post, my first one.

Or, you could just continue scrolling down here, it is the same thing :)

I created a couple of radness printables for all your thankful thoughts this Thanksgiving dinner. Here is the one for the grown-ups table. (Click HERE to download the PDF. So easy!)

This list I created is truly things I'm thankful for. I haven't written down things I'm thankful for in years.

And, here is the one for the kids' table. But I think I might like this one more because I like to color. That settles it, I'm coloring one of these. (The PDF is HERE.)

My sweetie 9-year-old girl Alex loves to color. She had some tips for me on how to improve the page, but I didn't have time to update my PDF before today. Maybe next year, just for her.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Customizable Christmas Cards

If you're like me, you haven't even thought about Christmas cards yet this year. To make it simple for you, I have a plan. For $15 you can:

1. Pick out a card you like below.

2. Email me at sharonerowan@gmail.com and tell me which number is your favorite. Be sure attach a photo, what name you'd like on the card, and how you will be printing it so I can send you the right file type (see number 4 below).

3. I'll customize your card and email you a digital file. I'll do it within 24 hours or less.

4. Print it one of two ways (1) print as a simple 5x7 photo or (2) I can place two cards to an 8.5x11 page and you can print them on card-stock at two to a page (but you would have to cut those out or pay the printer to).

5. Stuff them in a standard 5x7 envelope (like these) and you are DONE!

I take paypal so everything is easy peasy. Also, I can change the colors on cards 3,5, & 8 to coordinate with the picture you send if you prefer.

Happy Holidays!

Valentine's Day Card Free Download

Now that holiday craziness is over, I have a couple of simple cards available to download for free. They are flat (don't fold) and you'll get one of each on an 8.5x11 page. You can put them in an envelope, or keep them postcard style. Click HERE to get the PDF.

I don't know about you, but I have no plans for Valentine's day this year (we usually keep it low key anyway) except a movie at home on the couch. I'll be due with my twin baby boys no later than Feb 19th, so I'm going to enjoy my last weekend of peace before the crazy begins!

Day 18: Photo Tree Ornaments

I've made some personalize-able tree ornaments for today's download. I think every kid likes to see their picture on a Christmas tree!

Click HERE to download the file with one of each ornament (the download has a blank spot for you to include your picture). For best results, print on the heaviest paper that your printer will accept--they will last longer that way.

Day 17: Christmas Framable Art

Christmas day is December 25th, but in case you're ever in question about it, this print will save you. This is an 8"x10" image that is printable on 8.5"x11" card stock, so super easy to do at home and throw in any 8"x10" frame you already have. I'm just temporarily replacing what was in this frame during the Christmas season.
Click HERE for the color version shown below, or HERE if you prefer just black ink.

Day 5: A nice little set of ornament cards

Our Christmas tree is a hodgepodge of ornaments collected and given to me and my kids over the years. I was excited when I came up with an idea to memorialize them, before they get even more beat up than they already are.

Below is an image of all six cards available to download. The top two ornaments are from my family's tree growing up. I wish I knew where they came from, but I always loved them, along with several other ornaments I have fond memories of (including a wooden santa whose arms and legs would go up as you pulled a string). If you look closely you'll see that they've had better days, and may have even had a little photoshopping done to them to make them look a little more front-of-a-card ready. But not too much.
The second two down are from my mom. One given to me by her in about 2001 and the other inherited when she passed away in 2003. They are Goebel Berta Hummel ornaments, and I only know that because I still have the boxes they came in.
The last two my daughter picked out because they are two of her favorites. She loves decorating for Christmas, it's adorable.

I made these cards 3.5 x 5, so you can insert a small pictures if you'd like (they fold in half like a standard card), or attach one to a gift, or as a note itself (they will fit into envelopes that xpedx carries size 3.625"x 5.725" that are about $4.59 for a pack of 25). I created a download for each card (with two cards to a page of 8.5 x 11 paper) so if you only like one specific card, you don't waste ink printing a card on the other half of the paper that you don't want. Here are the PDFs to download:

Minted has 15% off on Holiday Cards

Minted has amazing holiday cards, including one I made HERE and some gift tags I made HERE.
Ending today they are offering 15% off + free shipping on orders over $100. An awesome price if you ask me, and the paper they print on is so extremely nice and pretty feeling.

Also, in other minted news, it looks like former model Christy Turlington (remember her back in the 90's?) chose one of my art prints as one of her favorites for children . . . see Up and Away below. I think the Eat Sleep Play one below is pretty adorable too.

Lastly, today's free download will be coming soon!
