Congratulations to Rachel for winning the "Dear Santa" package!
I'm excited to show my first ever scrapbook paper. I made it for Echo Park Paper, and excitedly I'm also working on two more lines for them right now.
Well, it is like scrapbook paper . . . it is a new style of scrapbooking (which they title "Photo Freedom"), which makes it easy for those that don't have the time to scrapbook, like a lot of people.
If you look closely at the image below, the bottom part explains it, under the "1, 2, 3." The paper I designed is meant to be cut up into various card sizes, and then simply put into a plastic sleeve with a matching size. There are 12x12 (just a couple front and back, the regular scrapbook paper size), 4x6, 3x4, etc. It is actually quite an awesome mix between just putting your pictures into sleeves, and also adding some cute elements on which you can also write a simple note.
Shown below is the entire kit as it comes. You can see screen shots of 10 of the 12 pages that are inside. It also comes with 6 plastic sleeves for pictures and the scrapbook pages to be inserted into (you can buy additional plastic sleeves if needed.)
Also, it comes with a page of stickers! Either stick them on some of the patterned paper, or give them to a child you know that loves stickers. Great either way.
Here are three of the four patterned pages:
This is one of the 4x6 pages,
another 4x6,
and this one has various sizes. But don't worry, the sleeves have slots for all of these.
Here is a page I put together, to help it make sense. I took a large 6x12 and put it on the left, and the on the right I put in two 4x6 photos and a 4x6 card where I can write the date, or who was at the event, etc.
I love it! This is my new way to scrapbook. You can see from the pictures above that I didn't have any Christmas themed pictures to go along with this Christmas themed paper for the sample I made. That is because I don't scrapbook so I don't print my pictures. But now that it is SO easy, I'm totally going to do it. I'd like to have some pictures printed so that my family can just pull out photo albums and flip through them as they'd like, rather than me trying to find a disk in my box of 1000 disks. This way the pictures will actually get looked at too.
So, here is the giveaway information! You can win an entire Dear Santa kit (the one shown above).
