My dad picked this in his garden a couple days ago.  I didn't know there was such a thing as purple peppers.
I asked my dad what the P-3 sign by the plant stood for so I could find out the name, and he said "P" stood for pepper and "3" stood for the third plant.  In other words, he doesn't know the name, just that it is the third pepper plant in his row.  Anyone know?  It does take a pretty little picture, peppers have such great curves.

  1. At first I thought it was a weird eggplant or something. Obviously I have no idea what the name is. I don't even know what i'm growing in my garden...

  2. It's a purple bell pepper, we grab them at the farmer's market all the time, yum yum yum! They taste just like green bell peppers (all in the same genetic family) but are so much prettier!
